Golub hires Shearman & Sterling lawyer for private credit practice

Golub Capital, a US direct lender and credit manager with over $60bn in AUM, has appointed Camilla Hunter, who was most recently a Senior Associate in the European finance practice of law firm Shearman & Sterling, as European Lending Counsel. She will be based in the firm’s London office.

PEP partners with Mirvac to acquire Serenitas for $1bn

Pacific Equity Partners has agreed terms to acquire lifestyle communities business Serenitas, put up for sale by investment bank Goldman Sachs earlier this year. The two are expected to split Serenitas’ ownership equally, however local mid-market private equity firm Tasman Capital, led by Rob Nichols, will retain a 5 per cent stake.
